The actual pharmacy has very limited hours so if you are not sure when you can pick up your prescription find a pharmacy that is open all day maybe Walgreens or Walmart.

CVS EMPLOYEE THREATENS TO CALL POLICE ON CUSTOMER Today I had what was without a doubt the WORST customer service experience in my 50+ years. I went to CVS 321 Hickory today to pick up a prescription that I was told earlier in the day would be ready and also received a text msg stating the same. At the drive thru, the female pharmacy tech greeted me and proceeded to tell me in a matter of fact tone, that my prescription had been placed on hold today, in fact. When I questioned her she called the pharmacist over to clarify things for me. In his hand he presented two photo copies of the same prescription, telling me that there was a mistake that my dr. had given me the same prescription twice and only one could be filled and not until 2 more days. I conveyed to him that I had called and had rec'd a text and asked as to why no one called me to tell me my medication would not be ready. He had no answer. As I examined the copies he presented me, it was clear that copies were duplicates. This was clear even to my untrained eyes since the prescription number generated by the drs office was the same. I might mention the prescriptions were for the same drug name but one being XR and one being immediate release. I then asked the pharmacist to give me back the original prescriptions. He told me that they were filed and would have to be pulled and asked to move away from the drive thru. I responded by saying "No, I will just wait". A few minutes later, a female store employee opened the drive thru window and asked me to move, I told her I would just wait. She said, "ok, we will just call the police." My response was "Ok, fine." After approximately one hour sitting at the drive thru the pharmacist comes to the window and briefly attempts an apology stating that "you were right Ms. Long, there were two different scrips" My response was "that is exactly why I would not move from this spot." I asked him to give me the original scrips back, as he was pulling them from the system the female employee came back to the window, I remarked "this is why I would not move, I knew you all were wrong." She said, "I wasn't wrong". The pharmacist gave me my original prescriptions back and I left. I feel it important to say that this is by far, not the first time I have had similar experiences at this location. Once they filled a scrip for my son with the wrong mg medication which prompted his dr. to call them directly. My questions are this #1 since this med is a controlled substance what exactly was the intent for the second scrip that was floatly around undocumented and #2 what right did the female employee have to threaten me with police action when I was simply trying to recover my prescriptions and prove their error. Tell me what is wrong with this picture???
